Reporting a message that you believe to be suspicious or malicious is the best way for security administrators to analyze messages and take appropriate action if the message is malicious.
Reporting a message does two things:
1. Sends the message to Microsoft for analysis
2. Notifies the organizational Security Admins for additional analysis
Note: Reporting the message does not block the sending address. This means that you will still be able to receive messages from that same sender in the future.
Additionally, reporting the message Is a more effective way of handling suspected malicious emails than forwarding them to other users on the network.
